Smile for the Cameras

As always, Halloween is a very exciting day in our household. The kids pack up their costumes and bring them into school for the big parade. Then Mom hopes that all the pieces come back home that afternoon so that there are no tears that night when we're getting set to Trick or Treat! So far, so good...

This year, Thing 1 went as an Oscar-winning Movie Star. (Really, when did costumes become so un-imaginiative?) Not that she didn't look beautiful...as always, big smiles for her fans!
And here comes Blade, the Vampire Slayer (minus any weaponry, of course)...
The parade was immediately followed by mass chaos, with all 500 parents and fellow siblings trying to make it into the school for their kids' parties. That was fun.
