Every year, whether it's in the summer or at Christmas time, we take the kids to Hershey Park. We all enjoy it immensely. This year, we went the weekend before Halloween for HersheyPark in the Dark. And this time, we brought along J9 and her crew!
Though it poured rain the entire drive out (I think we may have even drove through a monsoon!) and we never made it over 45 mph, by the time we got to Hershey, the rain had ceased and sun was shining. It had turned into a beautiful day!
We grabbed a quick bite to eat in the Courtyard Cafe and look who stopped by?! Reese's!
After learning how to make chocolate on the Great American Chocolate Tour, we went to see Hershey's Really Big 3D Show, complete with chocolate sights, sounds and even something at our feet. It was a great show. The kids (and parents!) loved it! And hey, you even get candy at the end...how great is that?

The first thing we do EVERY time we go to Hershey Park is stand by the Candy Posts to see how big the kids have gotten...and to see which rides they're able to go on this time. It's very exciting! This year, Thing 1 nearly misses graduating to a Twizzler. Maybe next year, babe!

These were taken in the newest part of Hershey Park, the new Boardwalk, made to look like you were at the beach. While we knew it wasn't the same, we still couldn't resist getting our pictures taken by the big old signs of the town so close to our hearts. Oh those Wildwood Days...
We had a blast and look forward to next time when we can do it again!
