Want a sure-fire way to surprise someone for their birthday? Throw their surprise party 2 months in advance! Then throw it around the time of someone else's birthday and get a third party to pretend to throw that second decoy person a surprise party. Make sense? Yeah, it wasn't to us either and we actually did all that! But, craziness aside, it actually all worked!
We threw my mom a Surprise 60th Birthday Party a few weeks ago. Her birthday's actually not til June but the woman travels so much, it's hard to "pin her down"! We wanted to do something to let her know how special she is to each and every one of us. This was even more evident by all those who came to help her celebrate. And those that couldn't make it sent their birthday wishes! The weather was cool, but sunny. The food & cake were yummy. It was a wonderful day!
We had family and friends come from near and far. It meant so much to my mom and to all of us that you thought enough to make it here for her! We love you guys!
