School let out and we headed straight to the beach, without husbands. (Someone had to stay back and make the money so we could actually go to the beach! : ) It was me & my three and my sister J9 and her two, all piled into the van. Wow, we had a lot of stuff! And that's not counting the things we had Aunt Deb bring down the week before! We stayed for about a week, came home for a few days, then piled back in and headed back down for another week. (Thanks so much Aunt Debbie! We had a blast!) The kids absolutely LOVE the beach. Thing 1 & Thing 2 have really taken to the ocean; they love to boogie board! Thing 3 was thrilled with everything! He has no fear of the water, chasing the waves out; not knowing that they will come back in even bigger! And he loves being on his belly, in the sand, in the mud, in the ocean. Getting dirty doesn't bother him one bit! We did the boards, of course, eating way more than we needed to...also went to the Italian Festival in North Wildwood on Saturday night (also just another reason to eat!) Sunday, before coming home, we stopped in Atlantic City to walk those boards and have lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. Oh, and made a special stop at It'sugar (It's Sugar); this is the kids' favorite store and they couldn't wait to show their cousin! Talk about a sugar high! All the candy you could possibly want!!
