We had such a wonderful time this past Wednesday, when we visited the Pappalardo Country Club (located in the beautiful rolling hills of Central New Jersey). J9, her boys and me and my gang packed up the van and headed out for a day trip. It was so nice! Next time, we're definitely staying longer! We had a lovely lunch...a nice spread of lunch meats, cheeses, salads, vegetables, snacks, fresh bread. The kids loved it and ate very well too (I was shocked! Guess all that swimming really makes one hungry!) The weather was gorgeous and so was the pool water. I even went in for a while! The kids had a blast...there were all kinds of floaties, diving toys, rings, paddle boards, you name it! It took Cousin a little while, but we finally convinced him to try the sliding board. Once he did, he was so excited, we couldn't get him off of it! (Yes, Cousin, I know...Aunt K still owes you two dollars! : ) For dinner, there were burgers and dogs on the grill. Also very yummy! Next time we go, we may get a room. It was too fun to leave! Thanks Pappalardos!
